Biography

Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Mr. Leedle received an outstanding public school education at Springfield North High School.  Mr. Leedle graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education and began his career as a vocal music teacher in Columbus, Ohio.  Mr. Leedle has directed numerous musical and theatrical performances in school, church, and community settings.

After receiving his master’s degree in educational administration, Mr. Leedle was recruited into his first administrative position with Granville Christian Academy.  Mr. Leedle continued as an administrator in the Licking Heights School District, serving as the principal of Licking Heights Central Middle School.  Mr. Leedle was one of five administrators recognized by the Ohio School Board Association in 2007 for developing innovative approaches to improving achievement at Licking Heights Central Middle School.

Mr. Leedle is a dedicated family man with two children who have recently graduated from Northridge High School. His daughter currently teaches kindergarten in Phoenix, Arizona and his son attends The Ohio State University.  Mr. Leedle enjoys a wide variety of activities including camping, canoeing, fishing, golf and scuba diving.

Impressed by the Millersport community spirit, Mr. Leedle remains dedicated to the advancement of educational opportunities for all students.  Mr. Leedle is proud to be associated with the outstanding traditions held in the Walnut Township School District.
