Mrs. Schroeder

Mrs. Schroeder received her Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Language Arts (7-12) from Ashland University in 2001, and in 2006, she earned her Master’s Degree from Otterbein University with a specialization in K-12 Reading.  Her Master's Capstone about silent sustained reading was published in The Journal of Teacher Initiated Research and received a Phi Delta Kappa Research Award.  In 2008, Mrs. Schroeder became a National Board Certified Teacher and was named an Ohio Master Teacher.  She is also a teacher consultant with the Columbus Area Writing Project, a contributor to Choice Literacy, and a member of The National Council of Teachers of English She also serves as the advisor for the Walnut Township Chapter of the National Honor Society.  Mrs. Schroeder resides in Columbus with her husband, Pete, and daughters, Sophie and Margaret. In her spare time, Mrs. Schroeder loves to read and write (obviously), run, go to concerts, cross stitch, and enjoy life with her family and friends.
