Mrs. Peters is a 1995 graduate of Capital University, where she earned a B.A. in History and minored in Political Science. After graduating she 

substituted for one year, before taking a position as Director of Human Resources for a healthcare company in Columbus. In 1996 Mrs. 

Peters was offered a part time teaching position with MHS. She became a full time teacher with the district in 1999. Mrs. Peters was also the 

varsity cheerleading coach at Fairfield Union High School from 1991-2001. In 2007 she earned her Masters Degree in Social Science

from Ohio University. Mrs. Peters has been with the district for 21 years.


When not working, Mrs. Peters enjoys reading, decorating, writing poetry, and shopping. She is also a docent at the Georgian House Museum, 

when time permits. Her favorite past time though, is watching her 16 year old son play football and baseball and she spends her summers watching him in travel ball. She 

resides in Rushville with her husband Richard , her son Camden, and their dog Gabby.
