Happy birthday to Michael Levacy!


Yesterday evening was again a great night to be a Laker! The baseball team earned another signature win by beating Fairfield Christian 4-1. Cody Blosser got the win, fanning 11 with 2 hits. Trevor Treinish knocked in 2 runs and Trey Johnston drove in 2 with a triple late in the game. Michael Levacy scored 3 of the 4 runs. The Laker defense stepped up and it was a great total team effort! 


Results from the JH track meet at Berne Union with Miller, GCC, and Madison Christian:

  • Finishing 3rd: Gavin Hamilton in the 110 m and 200 m hurdles, Serenity Wolfe in the 200 m dash

  • Finishing 2nd: Hannah Hill in the shot put and McKayla Vizzo in the discus

  • Finishing 1st: Hannah Hill in the discus and MaKayla Vizzo in the shot put


State testing begins today with part 1 of the 8th grade ELA test. Our spirit theme today is Don’t SWEAT the test! (Wear your hoodies and sweats). Tomorrow’s theme is we will ROCK the test! (80s day). Reminder to those of you taking the tests. Effort tickets will be given during the test for students who arrive on time, are actively working during the test time, take their time, use the calculator during the math test, uses a scrap sheet of paper during the test, and give a good effort when filling in the extended response answers. All effort tickets will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and other prizes. All students who score a 3 or higher will receive time out of class to have some ice cream from Weldon’s. All students who score a 4 or higher will receive time out of class to have a pizza party. Do your best on the test! 


The yearbook staff will be selling yearbooks in homeroom from April 12th through Friday April 30th only. If you wish to purchase one at school they are $55.00 and checks need to be made out to MHS. You can also see Mrs. Peters anytime through April 30th.


Please bring your college acceptance letter of the school you plan on attending with you to school on Wednesday, April 14th to take a picture for the yearbook.  


Prom tickets are on sale. Please purchase/reserve tickets in the high school office. Senior prom tickets are at no cost. Tickets for juniors and others will be $40. If you are planning on attending, you must notify the office, even if you do not have to pay for your ticket. Class accounts can be used to purchase your ticket or your date's ticket. Any person attending prom who is not a student at Millersport High School must complete and turn in the permission slip in the office.
