Mr. Brownfield graduated from
Capital University in May, 1999 with a B.A. in Management/Marketing. After graduation he moved to Chicago and
worked as a computer consultant. After one year in Chicago, Mr.
Brownfield returned to Central Ohio to work for
Achiever
Business Solutions (based in the U.K.). While working for A.B.S.
Mr. Brownfield went back to school and obtained his Integrated Business
(Vocational) teaching certificate from
Ashland University. Upon completion of his certificate in
December, 2003, Mr. Brownfield worked at Briggs High School (Columbus
City Schools) for one semester teaching marketing and business courses.
Shortly after his time at Briggs High School, Mr. Brownfield accepted
the business teacher/technology coordinator position at Millersport Jr./Sr.
High School. Mr. Brownfield is currently in his sixth year teaching at
Millersport Jr./Sr. High School. He recently completed his
Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction: Technology
degree online through Grand Canyon University
in Phoenix, AZ.
Outside of school, Mr. Brownfield enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and working in his yard. Mr. Brownfield resides in Pickerington with his wife Darcy and daughter Addison (1 year).
