Mr. Swonguer graduated from Ashland University in 2003 with a B.A. in Education.
While at Ashland, Mr. Swonguer played football and was an
All-Conference selection. At the conclusion of his senior
season he was selected to compete in the
Division II Cactus Bowl.
He played football for four years and was a graduate
assistant for his fifth year. After graduating from Ashland,
he moved to Columbus and began substitute teaching. He is
now in his sixth year at Millersport High School where he
teaches Health and Physical Education for grades 7-12. Mr.
Swonguer is married to Kylene and has a son Cole Michael
Swonguer. He enjoys all aspects of sports and sports
participation, including watching his favorite football
teams the Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Mr. Swonguer’s motto is, “If there’s a will, there’s a way.”
