When not working, Mrs. Peters enjoys
reading, decorating, and shopping. She also enjoys watching
her eight year old son play football and baseball. She
resides in Rushville with her husband, Richard and son,
Camden.
Mrs. Peters is a 1995 graduate of
Capital University,
where she earned a B.A. in History and minored in Political
Science. After graduating she subbed for one year and then
took a position as Director of Human Resources for a
healthcare company in Columbus. Not long after, Mrs. Peters
was offered a part time position at MHS. She became a full
time teacher with the district in 1999. Mrs. Peters was also
the Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Fairfield Union High
School from 1991-2001. In 2007 she received her
Masters Degree in Social Sciences from
Ohio University. She has
been with the district for 13 years. Mrs. Peters is part of
several clubs and organizations, including the Fairfield
Heritage Association. She and her mother also own a home
decor consignment shop in Lancaster, called Sensibly Chic.
