Will Kirby, Superintendent

Will Kirby graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Mathematics and completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Policy and Leadership at The Ohio State University in 2007. Mr. Kirby is in his 17TH year of education; 6 years teaching high school mathematics in two states, coaching cross country and track, and 11 years of educational administration experience. Walnut Township Local Schools is Mr. Kirby’s first superintendent position after serving as the curriculum coordinator for the past three years in the district.

Mr. Kirby enjoys spending time with his family including the newest addition to his family, Carly Jo, who was born on July 31st. Mr. Kirby enjoys traveling and spending relaxing evenings with friends and family by the pool when not taking volunteer runs at Hocking Township Fire Department.

Brenda Amspaugh, Assistant Treasurer/Payroll Clerk

Brenda is a 1979 graduate of Millersport High School. She and her husband, Terry, reside in Millersport.  They have two children, Josh and Jessica, who are also Millersport High School graduates.  In addition to her duties at WTLS she is a member and serves as financial secretary for the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church.  She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

She has been employed by Walnut Township Local Schools in several capacities since 1998.

Heather was raised in Millersport where she loves to be out on the lake boating.  She attended the Millersport Schools for 13 years and graduated from Millersport High School.  Heather is  married to Jeff Terry and has three children, Jennifer Blevins, Kristin Keller and Justin Terry, who all graduated from Millersport High School.  She has two granddaughters, Emily and Ava Blevins and will soon have a third granddaughter, Kenlea Nichole Keller.  She loves spending time with her family and especially loves being a grandmother.  She loves, camping, swimming, boating, shopping  and sports.   Heather was the Secretary at the Fairfield County Educational Service Center for three years and then stayed home for 10 years to raise her children.  She was the secretary at Millersport High School for 15 years and has been the Secretary to the Superintendent  and EMIS Coordinator for the past 6 1/2 years.
